Endling wins Apple Design Award 2023!
You've probably heard of Endling – Extinction is Forever by now. The game is about the last fox family on Earth, and the goal is to guide them to safe territory so the species can survive. The rather gloomy topic is skillfully conveyed by the gripping story and the stunning aesthetics. As a player, you remain enthralled and devote yourself to your responsible task with full dedication.
And Apple thinks so, too! Having already been nominated in both the "Visuals and Graphics" and "Social Impact" categories for this year's Apple Design Awards, we received the coveted prize for the "Social Impact" category!
"In this side-scroller game, Endling casts players as a fox fighting to navigate a land charred by environmental disaster and human impact. Players are given the opportunity to build an immediate sense of empathy and connection to the lead character. From July 6th, you can follow your true destiny and discover beautifully designed worlds on PlayStation and Xbox! You won't have a towel in your luggage, but a beautiful dragon-shaped Scarf that will be your trustworthy companion. It will be your task to help the Scarf get back home and reunite it with its mother.
During your adventures in SCARF, you will solve increasingly complex puzzles, overcome daunting obstacles, and discover gorgeous new places using exciting mechanics.
