HANDYGAMES NEWSLETTER // JAN22
JANUARY 2022
Hello, and a belated “welcome to 2022!”
This is the first Newsletter of the new year. And we will start with a blaze! As our critically acclaimed stealth adventure “El Hijo – A Wild West Tale” was just released on mobile, we think it is nice to let you – our fans and followers – take part in that family-friendly game. Check it out further down and see how you can bring justice to the Old West.
Have fun!

HandyGames – BIG IN JAPAN
The world is growing together. At least in the sense of gaming. Gone are the days when you heard a rumor that there is a version of a game from your favorite franchise that you will never be able to play, let alone know what it's all about. (I’m talking to you, Lost Levels and Doki Doki Panic)

Nowadays, it’s no problem to get games and (of course) information about them on the internet. But what about the other way around? How do European, and more specifically, HandyGames’ games, perform in Asia? In an interview with Famitsu, one of Japan’s biggest gaming magazines, our CEO, Christopher, discusses how he plans to take over Japan. I hope your Japanese is not as rusty as mine.
Visit FamitsuEL HIJO – A Wild West Tale ON MOBILES FOR YOU TO ENJOY!

Our award-winning stealth game, El Hijo - A Wild West Tale, continues to provide fun for young and old alike. We are all the more pleased about the mobile version, which we have been offering since Monday on Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and Samsung Galaxy Store. El Hijo is now on his noble mission to sneak through the tracks of your smartphones and tablets!
To mark the occasion, we'd also like to give away some keys for the mobile version! If you want to add this game to your roster, send us an email with the subject "I Want El Hijo" to marketing@handy-games.com by Monday, February 7th, and briefly explain why you absolutely want to get this game! We will raffle the keys among the best entries.
Son of a pitch!
Ever wondered how to pitch a game to a publisher? Whether you’re a veteran indie developer or a hobbyist, one day you will quite likely talk to a publishing company like HandyGames to help your game get the attention it deserves.

Josef is one of our producers and has more than a decade of experience in the games industry. He was invited by Devcom to talk about exactly that topic. If you understand German, we highly recommend you take a look at his conversation with Stephan Reichart on Devcom’s talk show “Games & Kaffee”.
