Season's Greetings
The holiday season is award season in the games industry, and it's really starting to feel a lot like Christmas here at HandyGames. Honors bestowed by Apple, Google, and more, as well as a The Game Awards nomination. We're proud and thankful to do what we do, and we truly appreciate every single one of you who chose to spend your valuable time and hard-earned money on our games this year.
It has been a year of great turmoil. No reason to sugarcoat it. And all the news from around the world can make you wonder if what we do is even relevant. But the more I think about it, the more I believe it is. History shows that people seek entertainment and distraction when times are tough, and seeing strangers from around the world come together over something they enjoy is very rewarding. Video games may not change the world, but they can, for what it's worth, spread joy and build strong connections between people.
With that said, we wish you and your loved ones a peaceful and healthy holiday season.

El Hijo Named Apple TV Game of the Year!
El Hijo – A Wild West Tale has done it again. HandyGames' beloved, family-friendly stealth adventure won yet another award. An Apple App Store Award, nonetheless!
In 2022, international premium indie publisher HandyGames, in cooperation with Honig Studios and QuantumFrog, ported the gloomy yet heartwarming adventure to Apple TV. The game convinced the jury with its look, narrative, and mechanics, and was crowned Apple TV Game of the Year.

The Game Awards are sort of the Oscars of video games. In the category 'Games for Impact,' our critically acclaimed Endling – Extinction is Forever has been nominated!
The touching story of saving the last fox family in a dystopian world convinced fans worldwide. We are excited to see how the award ceremony will go, and we are already very happy about the nomination! The award ceremony live stream will be broadcast on December 8 starting at 7:30 pm (PT).

Endling – Extinction is Forever was awarded in the Angebote für Jugendliche (Offers for Young People) category! The graphically and musically impressive game captivates with an oppressive atmosphere. We say a big thank you!
The Pädagogische Medienpreis, established in 1998 in Germany, is awarded to selected titles considered particularly valuable and worthy of attention for children and young people.
Unlike many other awards, the evaluation of the selected titles is based on the quality of the practical experience gained with them. Thus, on one hand, the award can be understood as a seal of quality, and on the other hand, it can also serve as an orientation aid for parents who want to give their children pedagogically valuable products. The prize is awarded by a selected jury of experts.

Wreckfest particularly appeals to racing game fans. Since its release for PC and consoles, the fan community has been growing steadily. Our mobile port follows the same path. Not only is the implementation of details outstanding, but the meticulous integration of the game's physics is also celebrated. Vehicles may be demolished in the most diverse ways, and even the tracks themselves can be destroyed. In addition, the possibilities to customize one's vehicle and expand the game with optional DLC are convincing, but they're not essential to enjoying the game to the fullest.
