Whoa! What a month. A lot has happened in the holy halls of HandyGames here at our HQ in the lovely Franconian town of Giebelstadt.
A glimpse of normality is on the horizon, as more and more teams come back from the home office, back into the old army building. The good thing is that they are greeted with completely new furniture. As the teams had to stay at home, we embraced the f*** … unfortunate situation and switched the old desks to electric standing desks.
What else is new? Well, take a look and have a great time!

You will take the mischief from your nasty neighbor’s flat all the way to China, India, and Mexico, where you will make sure his holiday is a living hell. Thousands are affected by the flood disaster in Germany - the HandyGames family wants to help with a spontaneous Steam event!
Together with our studios Massive Miniteam (Spitlings), Paintbucket Games (Through The Darkest Of Times), and Honig Studios (El Hijo - A Wild West Tale), we started a Steam event - German Flood Relief - where 20% of every purchase will be donated to Aktion Deutschland Hilft.
Separately, we are donating an additional 30,000 Euros to Aktion Deutschland Hilft! As part of Embracer Group and the THQ Nordic family, it's natural for us to stand united even in hard times, give back, and make the world a better place.
Our thoughts are with those affected and their families who, after the water slowly recedes, are still holding out in uncertainty and fighting for their belongings.

ARE YOU AN ERGONOMIC GAMER?
Back pain has been on the rise for many years, especially in offices and while using computers. It is now undisputed that rigid working postures, continuous sitting, and the associated very one-sided stresses are one of the main causes of this negative development. The solution is: more movement!
Because our bodies need variety - especially when we sit in front of a computer screen for long periods of time.
If you are one of the many who sit (or loiter) in front of the screen, here are six tips for a healthy computer posture.
- If you can, get rid of sitting altogether. This helps prevent incorrect stress on the spine and intervertebral discs, muscle tension, and rapid fatigue.
- Place the monitor at least one arm's length away. Effect: If the monitor is too close, the posture tends to be cramped. This leads to tension, especially in the shoulder and neck area. The further away the monitor is, the more relaxed your upper body and eyes will be.
- Place the keyboard and mouse so that the elbows are always at the same height. Effect: Your upper body is not permanently loaded on one side, which prevents cramps and disharmonies in the shoulder, back, and neck muscles.
- Tilt the pelvis slightly forward - ergonomic chairs and seat cushions may help. Effect: Your lower back remains in its natural position; intervertebral discs and muscles are relieved.
- Place your feet firmly on the ground, as parallel to each other as possible. Effect: The body automatically assumes a healthier posture, and the load is evenly distributed across both halves.
- Move your a**! Get up, do the dishes, maybe some squats before getting back in the chair. And try to drink a lot of water. In millions of years, the human body was designed to be in constant movement, so do that.
