HandyGames‘ FIRST SHOOTER
We are so proud. Last month, we sealed the deal with Item42, a UK-based game developer studio from Brighton. They are in the process of developing PERISH – a rogue-like 4 Player Coop Shooter from the depths of hell. Well, not hell, rather that realm in between life and death. It’s not a pleasant place, but you have a golden revolving double-barreled shotgun.
And there’s gold – lots of gold.
Oh, and other heavy metal:
The devs are two guys who also play in a death metal band (https://zilf.bandcamp.com). So they wrote the soundtrack, too.

One Hand Clapping
Do you know what is strange? Hearing a recording of your own voice. Right? What if I say you get used to it over time and you now can use your singing skills - or the non-existence of them - to play a game that just went viral on the interwebs?
ONE HAND CLAPPING is a game that just came to Early Access on Steam and took the singing community on YouTube and Twitch by storm. You don’t want to sing? Fine, use your guitar or a strange … let’s call it „instrument“.
Sounds like fun, you say? You’re darn right – just take care that your neighbors won‘t think you’ve gone nuts.

Seems like we learned from the best. Like our mother company, THQ Nordic, we seem to have found joy in acquiring game studios. 😊
And now THQ Nordic is a grandma company. We promised to invest in the German game industry, and we think MASSIVE MINITEAM (https://www.massiveminiteam.com) from Cologne is the perfect fit.
Are we getting old now? Wiser perhaps? No, we’ve just begun!

And another one! We are proud that Germany's best family-friendly game, El Hijo – A Wild West Tale, was awarded the Der Goldene Spatz. A unique thing is that the jury consists solely of children. So, the target group played the game and deemed it worthy of an award.
